Redsn0w Untethered iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak Released For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

The iPhone Dev Team has released updated version of both Redsn0w and PwnageTool tojailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered using i0n1c’s untethered exploit.

UPDATE: Jailbreak for Verizon iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.8 is also available.

… three in a row!  Apple released iOS 4.3.3 on Wednesday, and once again the untethered jailbreak exploit that @i0n1c created for 4.3.1 still works.  That makes it an unprecedented three firmwares where the same userland exploit works.  We’re not exactly sure why Apple hasn’t fixed the hole yet, but we’re not complaining!
Today’s PwnageTool and redsn0w incorporate @i0n1c’s port to 4.3.3 (it’s ironic that such a long-lasting untether doesn’t even have an official name!).  It also of course uses geohot’s limera1n bootrom exploit to inject the jailbreak. The 4.3.3 untether works on all devices that actually support 4.3.3 except for the iPad2:

Jailbreak iOS 4.2.8 On Verizon iPhone 4 Untethered And iOS 4.3.3 On Windows Using Sn0wbreeze 2.7

iPhone developer ih8sn0w has updated Sn0wbreeze to version 2.7 in-order to include supportuntethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.3 (iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod touch) and iOS 4.2.8 on Verizon iPhone 4.

Just like Redsn0w, iPad 2 jailbreak on 4.3.2 is not supported yet.

Currently, the only way to get untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.8 (Verizon iPhone 4) is to use this version of Sn0wbreeze. But if you have a GSM iPhone 4 and you are wondering why to use Sn0wbreeze over Redsn0w? Then here’s why: If your iPhone relies on a carrier unlock, you must use Sn0wbreeze 2.7 which will help retain the old baseband for iPhone 4 and 3GS users so that they can be unlocked using Ultrasn0w. Step 1: First, download all the required tools and files to your Windows desktop:

• Download and install iTunes 10.2.2 for Windows.
• Download Sn0wbreeze 2.7 for Windows.
• Download iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
• Download iOS 4.2.8 for Verizon iPhone 4.

Step 2: Start Sn0wbreeze, click the next “blue” colored arrow to proceed.

Download iOS 4.2.8 For Verizon iPhone 4 [Direct Link]

iOS 4.2.8 is also available now for CDMA iPhone 4 users on Verizon, alongside iOS 4.3.3 for GSM iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad, iPod touch 3G/4G to fix the much talked about iOS location tracking bug.

To update to iOS 4.2.8, all you need to do is to connect your iPhone 4 with your computer via USB and start iTunes 10.2.2. You should now see a message prompt. Simply click on “Download and Install” (Mac OS X) or “Download and Update” (Windows) button to get on to the new firmware 4.2.8.

The last major update for Verizon iPhone was iOS 4.2.6, released back in February 2011, followed by a minor update iOS 4.2.7, released on April 14.

HTC Kingdom [EVO 3D] ROM Ported On Desire HD

Sniper911 has recently released the HTC Kingdom Stock ROMthat is supposed to be for HTC EVO 3D. Well we aren’t really sure if this is the case as there are some folks who believe that this ROM isn’t meant for the EVO 3D phone. We seriously don’t know what the case is, but apparently some industrious hackers and Android ROM developers have started to port this HTC Kingdom dump on their Desire HD. The work in progress is coming along pretty cool apart from some glitches that won’t allow some developers to access SD card normally. So far it seems that most of the stuff is working like Wi-Fi, Buetooth, Data, USB Debugging and sync.

For now there are no downloads available as the ROM is still undergoing development process.
